Announcement and maintence schedule

Dear Deaf Today Readers,

I have been notified by my provider that they are requested to relocate their server farms to a new location by their backbone supplier. Their backbone supplier are closing down their original Internet access point and moving to a location across the street in a new high rise office building. All of their customers including my provider must move before the end of October.

Their move will occur between 10pm and 6AM PST (Thurs eve. to Fri.AM ) Oct. 24, 2002.

Deaf Today will be down for a maximum of 4 to 6 hours, perhaps less.

There will be no changes to Deaf Today's ips, so all domains will remain active up to and after their physical servers are moved.

They, including me, apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but they will be in a new state-of-the-art backbone facility and will be able to provide a better security and faster connections. They, including me, appreciate your acceptance.

Sincerely,
Webmaster,
Deaf Today
