Karana to clash with Riffa Stars

KARANA Youth, Al Lozi Cold Stores 'A', Asry and Riffa Stars booked spots in the quarter-finals of the seventh Batelco Seven-A-Side Soccer Tournament being held at the Batelco Staff Centre grounds in Al Hamala.

Karana Youth made it to the second round after topping Group C with 11 points following victories over Al Lozi A (1-0) and ASD (2-1). Al Lozi Cold Stores 'A' came second in the group with 10 points with a5 - 1win over Manchester United.

In Group D, Asry finished on top with 13 points. They beat Riffa Stars 2- 0and Al Saeed Water to qualify for the quarter-finals along with Riffa Stars who took second spot with eight points after they trounced Mehzaa4 -0.

Karana Youth will take on Riffa Stars in the quarter-finals, while Asry face Al Lozi Cold Stores A, International Data Systems (IDS) take on Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) and Ahmed Shareef Furnishing play University of Bahrain (UoB) A team.

Tonight's fixtures (Group B):8 .20pm: Al Hamala vs Nuwaidrat;10 pm: Deaf Team vs Umm-Al Hassam.
