Angela Scott and Disheka Bland almost outscored Pelahatchie by themselves last week. Scott scored 30 points and Bland 20 to lead the Mississippi School for the Deaf girls basketball team to a 63-52 victory over Pelahatchie.
PELAHATCHIE
Senior Lakeisha Gilbert had 16 points in a 1-point loss to Puckett and 20 points in an 11-point loss to Mississippi School for the Deaf.
PISGAH
George Hoard was the leading scorer in football with four touchdown catches and now he has taken his scoring talents to the basketball court. Hoard scored 29 points to lead the Wolves to a 71-69 victory over Mississippi School for the Deaf and 20 points in a 69-36 loss to Morton.
