Crusaders get first volleyball victory

Midland Christian School got its first win of the volleyball season Tuesday with a 15-10, 15-17, 15-10 victory over visiting Michigan School for the Deaf.
For MCS, Lauryn Doerr was 16 for 16 serving with 14 points, and Kari Campbell was 15 for 16 with 11 points.
The Crusaders (1-2) are off until Jan. 7 when they visit Cadillac Heritage Christian.
