PANTO BEAR TELLS BROWN: HE'S BEHIND YOU

TWO formidable animals came face to face yesterday - one political and the other plastic.

The polar bear was a prop for the annual charity Christmas party organised by Chancellor Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah.

And the reception was anything but frosty for 60 deaf youngsters invited to No 11 Downing Street for the Cinderella pantomime.

Willy Won't-he the clown, left, and actors from Casualty and The Bill took part in the show for the National Deaf Children's Society.
