MALACCA, Jan 16: A deaf-mute was robbed of his watch and RM800 cash by three men who covered their faces with women's stockings.

The 35-year-old man was walking home through a dark alley along Jalan Pengkalan Rama when he was robbed by the men armed with a knife.

State Criminal Investigation Department deputy chief (administration) Deputy Superintendent Carleel Mohd Effendy said in an unrelated incident, police arrested two men attempting to break into a house at Taman Delima, Bukit Baru.

They were caught in the compound of the house after police were alerted of the break-in by members of the public.
