Austine to host 25th annual ESDAA tourney

The Austine School for the Deaf will be hosting the 25th annual ESDAA Div. II girls basketball tournament this weekend.
The tournament will be a three-day affair, starting on Thursday and ending on Saturday evening.
There will be a full slate of games each day. On Thursday, there will be four games, the first starting at 2:30 p.m. and the nightcap beginning at 8 p.m.
The hometown Austine Arrows girls basketball team comes into the tourney with the No. 6 ranking. The Arrows will begin their tournament play on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. when they take on No. 3 seed St. Mary's.
Four games are also on schedule for Friday, with the first game starting at 2 p.m., the second at 3:45, the third at 6:15 and the last to tip-off at 8 p.m.
Saturday will also feature four games. The first contest will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the second at 3 p.m.
The tournament will then move to the Vernon Elementary School. The consolation game will start at 6 p.m. followed by the championship which will tip-off at 8 p.m.
