Meeting on SPED and the transition to high school

Wayland's Special Education Parent Advisory Council invites you to an important meeting on Monday, March 3, at 7 p.m. about "Transition from High School to Adult Life." A panel of experts from five state agencies will share their advice and expertise. The agencies are: the Department of Mental Retardation, the Department of Mental Health, the Vocational Rehabilitation Commission, the Commission for the Blind, and the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. It's not too early to start learning about this important topic. Although the content will be directed at parents, high school students are invited. Parents from other towns are most welcome. Please note the earlier start time of 7 p.m. Location is the Senior Center in the back of the Wayland Town Building. Call 508-259-9003 for directions.
