LONG BEACH Two men were arrested while police searched for other possible suspects, after three deaf girls and a deaf 19-year-old woman were sexually assaulted between Friday night and Saturday morning, a police spokesman said.

The two suspects, ages 19 and 24, allegedly gave the victims alcohol and illegal narcotics at a residence in the area of Ninth Street and Daisy Avenue before assaulting them, said Sgt. Paul LeBaron of the Long Beach Police Department.

The suspects' names were not released pending a police investigation, LeBaron said.

The victims, who were all friends, met the suspects at a party at about 7 p.m., LeBaron said. They went to several locations in Long Beach through the night, including two motels and several houses, before they ended up at the residence at Ninth and Daisy, LeBaron said.

The victims got away from the home at about 6 a.m. and called police, LeBaron said. They were examined at a local hospital, LeBaron said.
