Nat Cricket championship for deaf to begin on Mar 12

Chennai, Mar 10 (UNI) The 11th National Cricket Championship of the Deaf on zonal basis will be held here from March 12 to 14 under the aegis of the All India and Tamil Nadu Sports Councils of the Deaf.

North Zone, South Zone, West Zone and East Zone teams will be vying for honours on round robin league basis.

The Indian team for the second World Deaf Cricket Cup will be selected based on the performances of the players in this championship, according to Organising Secretary B Krishnamurthy.
