Warren Doctor killed in plane crash

It's confirmed a Warren doctor is dead following a small plane crash last night near Washington D.C. Virginia State police say Doctor Franklin Rizer was killed.

They say he was alone piloting an aircraft registered to FMR Consulting in Warren. The plane crashed in a neighborhood around eight o'clock last night.

Dr. Rizer was known for his expertise in cochlear implants--helping the deaf to hear.
