Children With Hearing Disabilities Spend Time with Nashville Sounds Baseball Team

From: WKRN, TN - Apr 21, 2003

Forty-five youngsters are treated to a morning with the Nashville Sounds baseball team.

The morning day camp is a chance for children with hearing disabilities to take part in baseball drills with Sounds players. The event is sponsored by the "Sertoma Group" and all of the kids

"They'll come out and have a great time. The kids just have a blast because they don't really get to do this too much, and I don't think any of them get to play organized sports because they are deaf and hard of hearing."

Tuesday, the kids will take in the Sounds game, where they will get to see the players in action.
