The sequel to the blockbuster hit X-MEN debuts in select MoPix-equipped theatres this week. For many, this marks the beginning of the 2003 summer movie season. Enjoy!
OMAHA: CONSUMERS-AMC UNITED
Congratulations again to movie fans in the Omaha area who raised matching funds to assist AMC install its newest Rear Window Captioning and DVS Theatrical systems... at the AMC Oakview Plaza 24. X2: X-MEN UNITED is the first film to play in the state of Nebraska with closed captions and descriptions. See location and showtime information below.
HOW CAN I HELP SPUR PROGRESS?
This is a question we hear numerous times every week... we'll perhaps not these exact words but you know what we mean. If you would like to receive printed information to help with calls and letters to theater chains and studios, let us know. We also have a limited number of copies of a VHS tape available which demonstrates the systems, and has comments from consumers and industry folks regarding MoPix technologies (tape is open captioned and described). And if you have a accessible theater near you, let the folks there know you enjoy attending films at their theater.

I have taken students and other professors to visit the equipped theater in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
