Police charge two ex-staff of deaf school

By Tom McCoag / Amherst Bureau Stellarton - Jane Suttis wept with joy Friday when she learned that two former employees of the former Atlantic regional school for the deaf have been charged with physically and sexually assaulting students.

"I feel vindicated," Ms. Suttis said. "I've been saying for years that abuse happened at that school, but for a long time no one would listen to me."
