Police Investigate Gang Rape Of Deaf , Mute Woman

NEW YORK -- Authorities continued to look for suspects in the attack on a 21-year-old deaf woman who was pulled into a vacant Brooklyn building and raped by four men, police said Saturday.
Police questioned someone in connection with the attack, but no arrests had been made as of early Saturday, according to police spokesman Sgt. Dennis Ferber.
The woman was on her way to the subway Wednesday afternoon when she was approached by one or two men, who took her inside a vacant house on Blake Avenue in East New York. There, where four men raped her, police said.
On Friday, City Councilman Charles Barron called for called for Mayor Michael Bloomberg and other officials to repair abandoned buildings in the neighborhood to prevent similar crimes.
