Beltone hearing aid discounts for FB members

Farm Bureau members in Iowa can receive a free hearing screening and 15 percent off Beltone hearing aid purchases as part of an expanded suite of health care benefits offered by the organization.

The discount, effective immediately, can be obtained at any of the 48 Beltone franchise offices throughout Iowa.

"With health care costs continually on the rise, Iowans are looking for help," said David Lyons, Iowa Farm Bureau business development director. "To meet the needs of our members, Farm Bureau continues to cultivate relationships with partners that can provide quality products and service at an affordable price."

Beltone Electronics is the premier Managed Care network in the United States offering hearing benefits and services and is the newest health care benefit offered members. Farm Bureau services include such staples as health coverage through Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa, Medicare supplement insurance and short-term Major Medical insurance.

Members also receive discounts on prescription drugs through ScriptSave and Iowa Priority, eye wear frames and lenses through the Iowa Optometrist Association and contact lenses through My Contact Lens Inc. In addition, members can save 20 percent on LASIK eye surgery through Wolfe Clinic.

Lyons said Farm Bureau will continue to pursue additional savings opportunities through special partnerships to help Iowans further reduce their health care costs.
