AG Gives Opinion on Deaf School Superintendent

From: KARK, AR - Jul 19, 2003

An opinion from the attorney general makes an ousted superintendent feel stronger about her case to reclaim her job.

Sandra Lunestad says she was forced out of her position at Arkansas' School for the Deaf because board members wanted one person, to run the Deaf and Blind School.

Attorney General Mike Beebe didn't issue an opinion on Lunestad's case specifically, but did say says it's against state law for one person to run both campuses.

Lunestad has filed a lawsuit to get her job back.
