DEAF Festival set for Saturday at mall

ELKHART -- Booths, displays and presentations will highlight the annual Deaf Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Concord Mall. The event brings awareness of the deaf culture and their language to the community.

The festival also will feature children's activities, including face painting and magician Freeman Smith. The event actually begins this evening with bowling at Chippewa Bowl in South Bend from 6 to 9 p.m.
