MassRelay Community Forum At DEAF, Inc. Allston
From: Allston Brighton TAB, MA - Sept 5, 2003
MassRelay, in partnership with DEAF Inc. Allston, will be hosting Community Forum at DEAF Inc., 215 Brighton Ave., Allston from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10. The Community Forum is open to all interested parties who wish to learn more about the Massachusetts Relay Service.
The forum, the second in series of 11 2003 Community Forums set up statewide, is designed to provide detailed information about the updated MassRelay services. With the contract extension, VISTA has selected Sprint to provide the relay platform. There are new features and changes from the previous technology provider.
Community forums will feature the following activities:
Public education and community outreach on the new technology partnership and features.
Demonstration on different ways to place MassRelay calls.
Learn more about the NEW and EXPANDED MassRelay Caller Profiles - a feature to make a MassRelay call handling quicker.
Refreshments will be provided.
Participants will have opportunity to win raffle prize.
The Forums will be conducted in ASL with voice interpretation. Other accommodations will be furnished upon request and availability. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call MassRelay Customer Service at 800-720-3479 Voice; 800-720-3480 TTY/VCO/STS or e-mail Outreach@massrelay.org.
