Rapist to appear in Mothibistad court today

A man accused of raping six deaf and dumb girls at Tsineng Village in the Kudumane district in the North West is expected to appear in the Mothibistad Magistrate's court today.

The suspect, who is also a deaf, allegedly lured the girls with money. The perpetrator allegedly forced others to watch while he sexually abused each of them.

Residents of Tsineng village say they will be picketing outside the court in protest against child abuse.
