SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES

The Deaf Action Center of Greater New Orleans, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, will offer beginner sign language classes for the deaf and hearing impaired Oct. 2-Dec. 11. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hope Haven, Madonna Manor building, 1000 Barataria Blvd., Marrero. Cost is $70 and includes a textbook.
