11-Year-Old deaf and mute boy yearns for world record

KOCHI: In a bid to enter his name in the Guinness Book of World Records, an 11-year old deaf and dumb boy on Thursday drove eleven different types of vehicles, including a car, a motorbike and an excavator for short distances.

The boy, Krishnanunni, also drove a jeep, autorickshaw, lorry and a minibus, in front of the spectators, including his school mates and some politicians, who gathered at the Jawahar Lal Nehru indoor stadium at nearby Kaloor.

Kerala SC/ST Minister, Dr M A Kuttapan, flagged off the event on Thursday morning.

The unedited video cassette of the feet would be sent to the Guinness Book of World Records, the boy's father, Shivan, said.
