Deaf Center to host seminar

FREMONT -- The Ohlone College Deaf Center is planning a workshop for the deaf titled "Interacting with Hearing" from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.

It is the second workshop in the center's fall series, which will continue at the same time every Friday until Nov. 21. Following workshops will address the topics of community service, using interpreters and relay, effective leadership and public speaking. The workshops will be in Building 5, Room 5301, in the deaf center at the college, 43600 Mission Blvd. Registration and information: (510) 659-6269.
