COCHLEAR wins exporter of year award

Cochlear has won the Australian Made Large Advanced Manufacturing Exporter of the Year award.
Cochlear sells its Nucleus cochlear implant system in more than 70 countries.
Trade Minister Mark Vaile announced the winners of the 40th Australian Export Awards in Sydney last night, saying Cochlear was one of a group of outstanding Australians.
Cochlear said it continues to expand its export base throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
Cochlear said it participated in more than 90 collaborative research programs with university and research hospitals in more than 35 countries, supporting more than 50,000 Nucleus recipients.
