School for the Deaf to hold annual open house Tuesday

FREMONT -- The California School for the Deaf is holding its annual open house from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Parents of deaf and hard-of-hearing children, sign language students and alumni of local colleges and high schools, as well as the public are invited to watch a sign language variety show, tour the school and browse a deaf services fair.

Tickets to the variety show, which begins at noon, are free but limited and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
