Deaf choir to perform

"Christmas In The Channel," a free concert featuring The Canal Boulevard Baptist Deaf Church Choir, Lloyd Cambre's Jazz Group JELLO, and the Southern Animal Foundation's little Christmas Attired Pets for Adoption, will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Irish Channel Action Foundation, 1813 Magazine St. in New Orleans.

The traditional carols, hymns, popular songs and sentimental melodies of beautiful Christmas music will be performed by an all deaf choir with the beauty and artistry of hands flowing and dancing with delicate ballet-like expressions of Christmas Joy.

Refreshments will be sold.
