Hart's 21 points leads ISD

From: Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil, IA - Dec 7, 2003

Iowa Deaf used 21 points from Jada Hart and 10 rebounds by Meredith Kasal to defeat Wisconsin Deaf 33-27 Saturday night at the Lied Center on the Iowa Deaf campus.
Both teams had been scheduled to play South Dakota Deaf today, but after South Dakota was unable to make the trip, Iowa and Wisconsin agreed to play for the second time this weekend.
The Bobcats were without starting center Katie Romey (injured ankle).
"We certainly missed Katie,' said Bobcat coach Mike Shannon. "Jada filled in well and the girls did a good job getting the ball to her."
"We started playing better defense (in the second quarter)," said Shannon. "Our defense and rebounding were solid all night."
Karen Ruckman added eight points, four assists and five rebounds for the Bobcats.
April Huber led Wisconsin with 12 points, followed by Tiffany Goretski with 11.
The Bobcats will travel Monday to Kansas to play the Kickapoo Nation.
