De Pere: Adaptive education courses to be offered

St. Norbert College is offering five graduate courses in adaptive education in the next few months.

They are:

• Learning disabilities, Tuesdays 6:30 to 9 p.m., Jan. 20 to April 13.

• Deaf culture and sign language in America, Wednesdays, 6 to 9 p.m., Jan. 21 to March 24

• Literacy and phonemic awareness strategies for children with disabilities, Fridays 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 6, Feb. 20, March 5.

• Adaptive techniques for successful art experiences, part 2, Saturday, Feb. 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and part 3, Saturday, April 24, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Stress-free teaching of children with disabilities, Tuesdays 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 24, March 2 and 30.
