WASHINGTON- Robert Haney had 24 points and seven rebounds as Gallaudet University slipped past Hood College in overtime.
Hood's Pete Colwell, a Middletown grad, hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to overtime.
The two teams exchanged baskets for most of the extra period, before the Bison (6-6) took control to notch the win.
Colwell finished with six points, while Santo Provenzano had a team-high 19 points and eight rebounds and Sean Robine added 12 points for the Blazers (4-6).
