Sprint is pleased to announce that Federal Relay Service (FRS) will be launching a new video relay service on Monday, March 1, 2004. Mark it on your calendar and give FEDVRS a try!
WHAT: Federal Video Relay Service (FEDVRS) - a new video service using videoconferencing between the ASL user and VI (video interpreter) to connect to any hearing individual in the U.S.
WHO: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Federal/Military employees in the U.S. (50 states) as well as Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam and District of Columbia
WHERE: From work or home anywhere in the United States
HOW: With high speed connection (DSL or Cable) using a personal computer with web cam & web browser at www.fedvrs.us or videophone (D-Link) with TV, using FEDVRS.tv
WHEN: March 1, 2004
HOURS: Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 8 PM EST (Eastern)
COST: Free
