League offers deaf classes

Registration is now underway for three spring classes offered by the League for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing. American Sign Language (ASL) and Introduction to the Deaf Culture is open to anyone with a need or interest in learning ASL. The course includes ASL Instruction Level I; individual and group activities; introduction to the deaf culture; and general information and resources regarding the deaf and hard of hearing community. The fee is $100, which includes class instruction, materials and a textbook. For dates and times, call 248-8828 (voice/TTY). Payment is due at the time of registration.
