The Regional Center for Independent Living (RCIL) and members of the Deaf Awareness Week (DAW) 2004 planning committee proudly announce our upcoming Deaf Awareness Week, in Rochester, New York, a huge celebration of our Deaf culture and language, featuring a series of fun and exciting events to help bring awareness of the Deaf community to the public. We will start our Deaf Awareness Week on Sunday, September 19th, 2004 at the University of Rochester's Memorial Art Gallery and end Saturday, September 25th with an awards banquet night.
