MONEY FOR ILLINOIS PROJECTS

From: WAND - Decatur,IL,USA - Apr 7, 2004

(WAND) Governor Blagojevich approved $25 million in construction and repair projects that were on hold since he took office. Lawmakers approved spending the money over the last two years, but the governor froze the projects because of the state's budget problems. Now he says a review shows the projects are worthwhile and should go forward. The money will go to the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, several state parks, and four military armories.
