NTID dean to be installed

(April 22, 2004) — T. Alan Hurwitz, who in November was named vice president for Rochester Institute of Technology and CEO/dean of RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, will be officially installed in his post Monday.
The ceremony, in the Robert F. Panara Theatre at NTID, begins at 3 p.m. and is open to the public.
Hurwitz, of Pittsford, joined NTID in 1970. He replaces Robert Davila, who retired Dec. 1.
