Little Theatre of the Deaf coming to Machon

The Machon Elementary School of Swampscott will present the Little Theatre of the Deaf at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 12. This production, "Poetry in Motion," will incorporate American Sign Language and the spoken word to bring poetry to life for the audience.

The Little Theatre of the Deaf is the children's division of the National Theatre of the Deaf, a Tony Award-winning theatrical group. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Swampscott Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and the Machon Elementary School PTA.
