National Assistive Devices Survey
From: NFB: AE - Jun 29, 2004
The National Federation of the Blind: Advocates for Equality, (NFB:AE), would like input from blind, partially sighted and deaf-blind Canadians. You can help by agreeing to be a part of a Nationwide survey to study equal access to Assistive Devices. This project is funded by Human Resources Development Canada, and seeks to identify whether there is a need for a national Assistive Devices Program.
If you are 18 years or older and you are blind, deaf-blind orpartially sighted, you can help by providing NFB:AE with your contact information. The survey is being done by telephone and email.
If you would like to participate by telephone please call the NFB:AE head office at:
1-800-561-4774
and leave your name and telephone number including area code. One of the NFB:AE Board members is deaf-blind and will be advising us on how best to conduct the survey using message relay services. Please indicate which service you will require. Rachel Jeffrey will contact telephone participants during the month of July.
If you wish to participate via e-mail,
Type the word survey in the subject line and send your name and E-mail address to:
