From: PR Newswire (press release) - Jun 9, 2004
WASHINGTON, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is a statement by the American Association of People with Disabilities: "This was the right decision at the right time. If the FCC follows the Solicitor General's lead, this decision could promote broadband investment and more consumer choice. Widespread broadband deployment will lead to greater access to life-enhancing services for America's 56 million disabled children and adults -- services like video relay calls, video on-demand sign language interpretation, and telemedicine."
