Week of June 4-10

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN
The world's favorite wizard and his friends appear back in theaters today. This film has been closed captioned by WGBH, and described by the Royal National Institute for the Blind in the UK. There's been a delay in the delivery of the disks with the caption and description data to theaters. Please, if you're headed out today to see Harry Potter at one of the MoPix-equipped theaters that is playing the film, plan on seeing an evening show tonight instead. The disks should arrive in theaters by about 3pm today (Friday, June 4), so this evening's and the rest of the week's schedule (see below) should be all set. Remember, it's always a good idea to confirm film and showtime info with theaters before heading out. We apologize for this delay, if we were wizards, it would have been fixed instantly!

SMALL CHANGE, BIG PAYOFF?
We've had a few requests here in MoPixland to shorten up this oh-so-informative top section of news and "coming soon" titles in order to get folks to the important info (locations, films, showtimes) faster. It seems some of you early adapters get this fine weekly update on your PDAs or cellphones. Scrolling through all the info via screen readers is also no picnic. Far be it from us to stand in the way of technological progress, so we're switching the Coming Soon list to run just below the theater information. Promise you'll still look for those movies though... there may be a pop quiz on a movie title and debut date, and you'll want to be prepared!
