PIERRE, S.D. - Tony Venhuizen of Armour has been reappointed by the governor as the student representative on the South Dakota Board of Regents.
Venhuizen will be a senior this fall at South Dakota State University where he is majoring in political science and history. He was appointed as the student regent in 2003 to fill an unexpired term.
The student regent has full voting rights and serves a two-year term on the nine-member Board of Regents, which oversees the six state universities, the School for the Deaf and the School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
