Alert Over Deaf Girl

Police are trying to trace a vulnerable 17-year-old girl who has disappeared. Elizabeth Ward went missing yesterday while out cycling from her home in Whaddon, Cheltenham.

She is described as white, thin, about 5ft 1ins tall, with dyed blonde, shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a pink-trimmed grey fleece and green trousers.

Police are concerned because she has a young mental age and is partially deaf. She had little money with her.

A spokesman said: "She is a vulnerable young person and the longer she stays away the more vulnerable she becomes."

Police searching the area have appealed for anyone who has seen Elizabeth to contact them on 0845 090 1234.
