Concerns Grow For Missing Girl

From: Gloucestershire Citizen, UK - Jul 22, 2004

Concern is growing for a teenager missing from her Cheltenham home. Elizabeth Ward, 17, has a young mental age and is partially deaf.

She was last seen at her home in Whaddon yesterday and has little money with her.

Elizabeth is white, about 5ft 1in, of thin build with dyed blonde, shoulder-length hair.

When she disappeared, she was wearing a grey fleece top with graffiti-type writing and pink edging on the pockets. She was wearing green trousers and riding a silver mountain bike.

Acting Sgt Alasdair McCrimmon said: "We're concerned about Elizabeth because she's a vulnerable young person. The longer she stays away, the more vulnerable she becomes."

Anyone with information should call police on 0845 090 1234 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
