Deaf Woman Raped on Way to Temple

Salt Lake Police need your help tracking down a man who raped and then robbed a 50 year old deaf woman.

It happened just before 6 o'clock this morning.

Investigators say the victim was on her way to the Salt Lake LDS temple and was attacked when she took a shortcut behind the State Office of Education.

The man hit her in the head with a rock, raped her, then took her purse.

The suspect is described as a white male with blond hair. 5 feet 8, slim build. He was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.
