Missing Girl Found Safe

A vulnerable teenage girl who went missing from her home was today found safe and well.

Elizabeth Ward, 17, went missing from her home in Whaddon, Cheltenham, yesterday. She has a young mental age, is partially deaf and only had a small amount of money with her.

A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Police said she went into a police station in Mold, North Wales, today and was now on her way back home.

The spokeswoman said: "Elizabeth has turned up safe and well. She went into a police station in Mold but she is on her way back to Cheltenham this afternoon where officers will speak to her."
