ASL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Community Counseling Center, a progressive mental health services agency located in Portland currently has an opening for a Support Specialist with skills in American Sign Language. Support staff provides clerical support to clinical staff, administrative staff and senior management. This position will also interact with Deaf clients as necessary.

The ideal candidate is proficient in ASL and/or experienced in communicating with the Deaf or Hard of Hearing population. High school diploma required, additional coursework in office administration desired. At least two years experience in an administrative support role, excellent computer and communication preferred. Full time staff work 37.5 hours per week including one night until 8 pm a few times per month.
