AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE CASH PRIZES AT THE HALLOWEEN BALL AND OTHERS....

Have you started looking to wear a creative costume for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Halloween Costume Ball on Saturday night October 30th at the Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive, in Los Angeles?

We will give away GREAT CASH prizes to the winners of the following categories:
*Funniest- $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place and $25 for third place
*Scariest- $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place and $25 for third place
*Most Fantasy- $100 for 1st Place, $50 for 2nd place and $25 for 3rd place
(* Subject to 15 entrees or more per category.)

It is not too late to prepare a costume for the WRAD Halloween Costume Ball.... Some have already started to make their costumes including Gino himself who will demonstrate his talent skills to make a beautiful costume to show you at the Ball. He will not be in the contest competition. You have a chance to win a CASH PRIZE!!!!!!!

Joe Mc Roberts will present DJ Music- he is deaf himself and talented.

Bob Hiltermann is the Master of Ceremonies.

Excellent Judges who are Prelingually deaf- Bernard Bragg, Anthony Natale, and Terrylene

Over 20 deaf and hard of hearing people on the committee to help you make the party the best ever.

Delicious Dessert Buffet will be served.

Alcoholic Beverages will be sold on premises.

VAE is our Special Guest. She will talk about her acting experience in Japan.

The Halloween Ball will be videotaped by Alexander Matunine and tapes will be on sale.

Entertainment and Dancing provided at the Ballroom.

You can reserve a table near the stage for 8 people for $200. Send a check to WRAD with your name.

Our sponsor is the California Telephone Access Program.

The Halloween Ball is $25 per person. You can send your personal check until October 18 or a cashier's check or money order until October 25. The address to send the check is

The Halloween Costume Ball is a fundraiser for WRAD, Inc. The WRAD organization is an International NGO organization, functioning under the guidelines of the United Nations. WRAD has four major Sections each of which provides programs, services, and activities to hearing, deaf and hard of hearing persons.
Among the Sections are Education, Charitable, Research, and Publications. A nonprofit 501c(3) organization since 1985.
