Mississauga's Valerie Trofimenkoff, a 23-year-old junior middle hitter for the Gallaudet University Bison (Div. III) women's volleyball team in Washington, D.C., has been named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Second Team.
The 5-foot-9 Trofimenkoff was recognized by the CAC for the third straight year, seizing Second Team honours as a rookie and First Team accolades last year. This season she finished second in the CAC in blocks (1.17 per game).
The Bison finished fourth in the CAC with a 5-2 record (21-11 overall).
