Deaf/Hard of Hearing Professionals Happy Hour
(DHH-PHH)
We are starting a new group called the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Professionals Happy Hour once a month on the SECOND Friday of the month to meet other professionals in any field for the purpose of exchanging information and to have a good time.
Our first gathering on Friday February 11th was a success with interesting people. We decided to have it again next month in March on Friday March 11th and the following month in April on Friday April 8th from 5pm until 10pm at the BUNGALOW CLUB, 7174 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, California 90046
Social Happy Hour is from 3 to 7pm
All Appetizers is $5, Cosmos $5, Mojitos $5, Draft beer $3
The Club is centrally located in Hollywood on the corner of Melrose and Formosa.
There are large bar areas with plush couches. There is also an amazing outdoor patio
You can order dinner there if you want to. It is very good.

Hi all!
Are you a Deaf/ Hard of Hearing man? Then you're already qualified to take part in a research study brought to you by the University of California, San Diego. By giving just 1.5 hours of your time, you'll get $15, a free meal, and help further research with the Deaf/HH community.
Date: Wednesday, February 16
Time: 7:00pm to 9:00 PM
Place: GLAD HQ (Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness) 2222 Laverna Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90041
This simple research study involves watching a videotape of ASL and filling out questionnaires and is strictly anonymous. Please e-mail mnakaji@ucsd.edu to confirm that you are attending - so we know how much food to order.
If you have any other Deaf/HH male friends, forward this message to them, too! We REALLY need every Deaf/HH man to come take this study to make this successful! Remember, you'll get $15 and a free meal for just showing up and taking the survey.
Thanks,
