Indian deaf cricketers to tour Pakistan

Peshawar, March 3 (IANS) An Indian team of deaf cricketers will reach Pakistan March 27 to play a series of five one-day matches against Pakistan's deaf team.
The matches are to be played in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi besides Peshawar, reports Online news agency.
North West Frontier Province (NWFP) Information Minister Asif Iqbal Dawoodzai Thursday said that good facilities are being provided at the Arbab Niaz Stadium to make the March 28 match a memorable one.
Dawoodzai was talking to Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association chairman Walter John and senior vice-president Hamid Khan, who had visited the stadium to review match arrangements.
The minister stressed the need to provide the finest facilities to the Indian players as "they are our guests".
