Indian deaf cricketers to take on Pakistan

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) With Indo-Pak cricket feaver in the air, the Indian Deaf team has embarked on its inaugural journey across the border to play a five-one-day series.

The contigent reached Pakistan yesterday and would kick of the series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 24. Both side are looking at the engagement as a fitting prelude to the Lucknow edition of the World Cup for the Deaf scheduled for later this year, according to an All India Cricket Association of the Deaf (AICAD) release here today.

Percept D Mark has contributed sports kits for the outfit and Indian Airlines fas arranged for a ''smooth and free passage for the Indian team to Pakistan'', the release said.
