Gary Brooks, '95, Deaf Filmaker Debuts His Movie, "Dr. Hand"

Gallaudet alumnus, Gary Brooks, '95, Award Winning Director of "Blue Apple", "Scarecrow", and "The G files" brings you the ultimate adventure of "Dr. Hand".

You are in for thrills as the Magician embarks on a journey with his sidekicks, the monkey and the flying robot. They are in search of the three legendary Sign Language elements to cure a deaf boy's illness. During their adventure, they enter the forbidden forest, secret caves, a mystery lagoon and encounter dangerous creatures along the way! An adventure for all ages! How to Pay and Obtain "Dr. Hand" Movie tickets

By Mail:
The postmarked deadline by mail for ticket reservations with payment ($8.00 per person), is March 28, 2005. Email confirmations will be sent to ticket purchasers. Ticket pick-ups will be on Friday, April 8 at Peikoff Alumni House between 1 and 4 p.m. or Foster Auditorium after 5:30 p.m. Send check, payable to Gallaudet University, to: Daphne Cox, '82, Associate Director, Peikoff Alumni House, GUAA, 800 Florida Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20002-3695

In Person:
1) Office hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Peikoff Alumni House.
2) Ticket booth is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from March 22 to April 5 in the Student Union Building near Campus Activities Office.

At Door:
Remaining tickets will be sold for $10 per person at Foster Auditorium.

Proceeds will go to the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund (LCCF) of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) to benefit deaf cultural activities and programs.
